Gamers were given a glimpse and saw the advance technology of Nintendos newest gaming console, Wii, at the E3 Conference parade. Unfortunately, they have not disclosed the price and date of release to market.
Sony announced in a press conference that their new-generation console PlayStation 3 will be released in North America on Nov. 17. To the delight of the gamers, Sony will be releasing two versions of the PlayStation3: a 20GB hard drive with a price tag of $499 and a 60BG hard drive with a price tag of $599.
With the Wii Remote, Nintendo showed the unique revolution of game consoles. The Wii remote controller allows the players to play a sport game and fighting game while moving freely. But though the company already presented the product, the release date and price of the newest game console was still not revealed.
Nintendo focused on revealing the capability of the remote controller and also showed the 27 games available for the Wii. They highlighted the magnificence of the Wii to whet the appetites of gamers before announcing the price and it its release date.
Nintendo named their newest game console Wii, as it was based from the word We. The companys goal is to show that their newest game console together with its game controller and divertive games are all accessible to wide-range gamers that had been waiting and recognizing their products since then. The VP of Nintendos Sale and Marketing department, Reggie Fils-Aime gave out his statement in an interview about some feedbacks that they got before completely introducing the Wii game console in the market. He told that mixed reviews were given but there were a lot of people who wrote good things about the console since the first day they knew about it and the company would like to extend their thanks to those people.
Even though Nintendo keep on not announcing the release date and price of the Wii game console, they somehow gave a hint about these things. The company told that the console might be out in the market by the fourth quarter of 2006 and its price might be lower than the other new game consoles like Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The company also told that they will have a different target compare with their competitors since they will include non-gamers or people who would only like to play simple games.
